I'm a beginner. Is Capable for me?

Yes, absolutely!


You should begin with our "Start Strong" program, which is a "Beginner to Weights" program. We will teach you the fundamentals of weight training so that this skill lasts you for life.

I'm pre/post partum. Is Capable for me?

Yes. We have a filter specifically for pre/post partum workouts, and our workouts are almost entirely low impact. Additionally, we'll be launching a pregnancy program and a postpartum program in 2025. 

Do I need a gym membership?

Nope - you can do everything at home (or anywhere). We just use bodyweight exercises and dumbbells. 

What equipment will I need?

All our workouts can be done at home with minimal space


  • For bodyweight-only workouts, you won't need any equipment


  • For barre workouts, you will need light hand weights (one pair)

    • We recommend 0.5kg (1lb) and 1kg (2-3lbs)

    • Alternatively, you can fill up two water bottles

  • For strength workouts, you will need dumbbells (two pairs)

    • We recommend 2-5kg (4-10lbs) for upper body and 4-10kg (8-22lbs) for lower body

    •  Alternatively, you can fill up two small bags

We really recommend investing in adjustable dumbbells like these. It's a one-time investment that lasts you for life (Adriana still uses her mom's dumbbells from the 90s!)

Am I supposed to buy a bunch of different weights? At the gym, I use different weights. So how will I see results if I use the same weights for each exercise?

If that's not feasible, you can do the bodyweight-only workouts for now.
